Laaaame night.

Tonight was a joke. First off Pete learned Smite of Rage while I waited for him near Rotatta. Pete and I headed out to Batallia Downs to go on a killing rampage. We killed anything and everything in our sight. We hoped to pick up Claw Cyclone while we were there. Pete vanished into the cosmos at point, but he came back. Later, in our killing spree we ran across a Goblin that was IT, and blah blah blah, we died. We didn't learn Claw Cyclone from any of the tigers we fought, and we're back in Windy. Whatever.

We decided we'd go try Attowha Chasm worms. When we entered the Chasm we realized neither of us had sneak oils. That's ok, we heard some talk in town that level 30s can duo the Hecteyes. In short, no, they can't. We tried. It kept curing itself for roughly 250 HP. We ran back into the maze for safety. Then some high levels ran by and killed them all for us so we could get to the worms. We killed one, no problemo. Next up we got a link, so we slept it. It wouldn't last very long, and before we knew it Pete got a Full-Force blow to the face. I finished off one of them with my sword before the second one finished me off as I was running away. We logged off. Tonight was a lame night.

Poison Breath

Pete and I looked at our googledoc spreadsheet of our spells and realized how far behind we were in our learning. So we headed out to Gusgen Mines to get Poison Breath. Those Bandersnatches (hounds) are pure evil. EVIL. Pete learned his pretty quickly ... my poor taru self STRUGGLED. When we first got there we pulled out our Fellows, it's a fun day when they come out and play. I have a Galka and Pete has a Mithra. All races worth noting are accounted for. Those lanky Elvaans ... we don't need no stinkin' Elvaan.

The Ghouls and Bandersnatches Aggro level 30s here and there. It's a toss up, some aggro, some don't. Nothing really to worry about. Pete and I had 3 Ghouls and 2 Hounds on us at once and made it out just fine. FINALLY I got Poison breath so we headed out. On our way up to Carpenter's Landing (to learn sporific from some fly traps) we ran across a few weapons so we stopped to try and learn Smite of Rage. After a kill or two I was stupid enough to go AFK while resting. After my sandwich I was dead. We stopped for awhile.

Pathfinders are Terrible Masters.

We spent awhile in Bibiki Bay killing a poor Goblins pet. Once you enter just follow the right wall until you come to a large rock. There is a Goblin Pathfinder with a Rarab pet that follows him around. There's also an Island Rarab nearby, he WILL link with the pet. If you feel up to it, the Rarab only links by sight, so you CAN pull behind it, but it's risky. There's also an Eft nearby, it doesn't aggro, don't worry. A bludgeon and a headbutt each was usually all it took to take this pansy down. We were here from 23-26 then moved on to Attohwa Chasm.

In Attohwa Chasm we ran to J-10. It only took us 1 sneak oil to get there. It's really simple - neither of us brought a map and still made it. There are a few goblins out in the open areas we had to avoid, no worries. When we got there there were big scary Scorpions behind us, and these CRAZY antlions. Pete and I didn't know if they aggroed or not, so we gave it a test run. Apparently they don't. Haha! The Scorpions were really close behind where we camped, and the pathfinder would get a little close. The pathfinder here has a Galliniper (fly) pet. It was ridiculously easy. Somersault landed maybe 3 times total in our 4 levels there, and it's not even that bad.

A few bad pulls got us killed, but whatever, that's the joy of being impatient. Pete was aggroed by one of the scorpions, it was HILARIOUS. We ran and rand and ran and ran and it finally got us all killed. Luckily someone was running by and gave us a raise. After we were all raised and unweakened we ran back to our camp and WHAMMO! The goblin aggroed Pete. Sheep Song has saved our life quite a few times already. Pete was pulling with feather storm until we realized the downside of it. Poison prevents mobs from sleeping. ... Bad idea. Now we pull with non-poisoning spells.

In the beginning...

Pete and I spent our early days in all the little areas. It didn't really matter, we mostly wanted to get out there and kick the crap out of stuff. It was fun, we spent most of our time Windy side, moving from West Sarutabaruta to the Canyon. Next we really worked the Maze Maker worms in the Maze of Shakhrami. At level 17 we moved on to Korroloka Tunnel. Talk about more worms, by this point it was getting to be ridiculous, and actually kind of sad. The poor worms didn't stand a chance. I'm not entirely sure when we left there, I'll ask pete later and edit this post once I do know.
